Where We Serve

Our vision is to invite every person in Georgetown, and all places we serve, into a life changing relationship with Jesus Christ.
Christ Presbyterian Church of Georgetown’s mission team exists to glorify God by equipping and mobilizing the church (fellow believers) to make disciples of all nations through the work of the Holy Spirit through evangelism, church planting, and mercy ministry.
Evangelism
Christ Presbyterian Church of Georgetown actively supports missionaries through Mission to North America (MNA) and Mission to the World (MTW) to extend the Gospel of Christ. We currently support the following missionaries:
Steve & Dawn Sparks in Ukraine
Rick & Pam Box in Columbia
Dan & Becky Young along the Mexico/Texas border
In addition to supporting these missionaries, CPC also strives to extend the Gospel closer to home. For example, this summer a group from our church will go work alongside our sister church in Laredo serving the community, and in the fall we will begin partnering with GISD schools to mentor students and make a difference in their lives.
Church Planting
CPC is committed to supporting the Southwest Church Planting Network (SWCPN), which is a voluntary organization working to expand Christ’s kingdom by planting new PCA (Presbyterian Church in America) churches throughout the southwest United States. The SWCPN brings together the resources (talent, expertise, money) needed to plant these new communities of believers by identifying and training leaders and nurturing new church plants to full maturity (the ability to support and govern itself).
While we benefited as a church plant within the network, we now seek to ‘pay it forward’ in establishing more churches like ours. A portion of our general giving goes directly to the SWCPN and to our local Presbytery to achieve this goal.

Mercy Ministry
We recognize that in addition to evangelism and church planting an even more tangible way to extend the Gospel comes in the form of simply meeting the needs of hurting and struggling people within our community and our church body.
Along with our pastor, CPC has an established group of deacons and helpers who seek to be the hands and feet of Christ in meeting the needs and providing physical and spiritual support to those in our church body and in the community.
CPC partners with The Caring Place and Pregnancy Help Center of Williamson County to meet the needs of those in crisis in Georgetown.
